My Hatha Life Story
When I was a little girl, I found an old, battered yoga instruction book amongst my parents’ collection of moth-eaten books. I treasured this book for years and taught myself to the best of my ability.
Once I was a teenager, I lost interest, but in my early twenties, an astrologer suggested that making yoga a part of my life would give me great satisfaction. I then had to wait quite a few years more before I allowed yoga into my life as a constant.
Since the day of my first open class, some 25 years ago, yoga has taken over a large part of my life. I now would find it almost impossible to let it go.
I would like to pass on to others the joy, peace and happiness that it has given me.
On a more mundane level, I am aware how it will allow me to be flexible and healthy into what I hope will be a ripe old age.
I would enjoy spreading the word of Hathalife Yoga, so to speak, and on a one-to-one basis, it would give me much pleasure to share some of the health benefits and philosophy with you. I have found that teaching yoga on a purely individual basis is the best way to learn properly. Yoga is highly personal, and each person’s practice should be tailored to one’s own unique body and needs.
You can learn yoga at any age, in any physical condition, at all weights, shapes and sizes.
I would offer you your own personal plan, taking all your private needs into account.
I have now been studying yoga on a daily basis for over 15 years. In that time, I have discovered a huge range of yoga asanas and styles. I have been trained by an eclectic range of teachers, throughout numerous countries. I have found that Hatha Yoga is the yoga that suits my needs the best. I have created my own version of this, which I call Hathalife Yoga. I hope you may like to join me to sample this enriching, nourishing, absorbing and calming power, which is my Hathalife!
